Nathalie Duponsel is a doctoral candidate in Educational Technology at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She is a certified teacher (Pre-K to Grade 6) and has taught at a variety of levels ranging from kindergarten to university. She has an M.Sc. in Vision Sciences specializing in Low Vision. Nathalie’s research focuses on maker education and design-based pedagogues for typically developing and special needs students. She is currently investigating the affordances of 3D printing for the development of mathematics teaching materials for blind and functionally blind students.
