Nilima Tanna is an experienced occupational therapist specializing in vision rehabilitation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the School of Occupational Therapy in Mumbai, India, and is certified as a Low Vision Therapist (CLVT) and in Specialty Certification in Low Vision (SCLV).

She is the co-owner of TheiaOT Consultants, where she provides professional coaching for occupational therapists looking to start or grow their private practices. Nilima has also worked with organizations like the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute at the University of California in Irvine and Braille Institute, where she developed and improved low vision rehabilitation programs to enhance patient outcomes.

Nilima also held academic roles, including Assistant Professor at West Virginia University and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Ketchum University. She is a published author and a frequent presenter at professional conferences.

Nilima serves on the executive committee of the International Society for Low Vision Research and Rehabilitation (ISLRR) and the Board of Directors for the Academy for Certification of Vision Rehabilitation and Education Professionals (ACVREP).
