I am sincerely grateful to the ISLRR for awarding me this Travel Grant. In the Philippines, many low vision patients live in poverty, with limited access to eye care and rehabilitation services. This grant gave me the invaluable opportunity to attend Vision2025 in Florence, where I learned from international experts and discovered innovative approaches that can be adapted to our resource-limited settings. These insights are something I am committed to sharing with my countrymen, especially in underserved communities. This award not only supports my growth but also strengthens my mission to improve low vision care in the Philippines.
