I am honored to have received this travel scholarship, which supported my participation at Vision 2025 in Florence, Italy. As a PhD student in Vision Science at the Université de Montréal, my research focuses on developing ICF Core Sets for children and youth with deafblindness, a population that remains underrepresented in rehabilitation and policy. This award enabled me to share my work on an international stage, build collaborations, and contribute to advancing inclusive, evidence-based care for individuals with sensory impairments worldwide.
